Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 637: Atlas Needs Answers Too

Chapter 637: Atlas Needs Answers Too

Rachel was now waiting beside the divine pod in silence, watching for something to happen.

But nothing happened.

Atlas floated nearby with his arms crossed, staring at the pod with a serious expression as he waited too.

Rachel’s brow tightened. "Atlas, just what is this divine pod supposed to do?"

Atlas narrowed his eyes.

[I don’t know.]

Rachel slowly turned toward him.

[Don’t look at me like that. I already told you, the Creator blocked the information.]

Rachel looked back at the pod and frowned. "So the only thing we can do is wait?"

[For now, yes.]

Just as Atlas said that, the [Divine Pod] suddenly trembled.

WOOOM!

Rachel’s expression changed. "Atlas, what the hell happened now?"

[I don’t know. Let’s just see what happens.]

The golden patterns covering the pod began to glow brighter, and from beneath Garion’s body, a strange black liquid slowly rose.

It looked like melted night, thick and heavy, but there were faint gold sparks moving inside it.

The liquid spread quickly, covering Garion’s legs, waist, chest, arms, and face.

In only a few seconds, his entire body disappeared beneath the black liquid.

Rachel stepped forward and instantly banged on the divine pod. "GARION! What the hell happened? What is that?"

Atlas stared at the liquid.

[I don’t know.]

Rachel’s voice sharpened. "You don’t know?"

Atlas’s mouth twitched.

[Again, blocked information.]

Rachel looked like she wanted to punch someone.

Atlas quickly pointed at the pod.

[But the pod isn’t rejecting it. The energy flow is stable.]

The black liquid moved like a living thing, but it did not feel hostile. Instead, Rachel had the faint feeling that it was somehow changing Garion’s body.

She did not know how to explain that feeling.

She only knew that the liquid did not feel like it was trying to hurt him.

Then, suddenly, a screen appeared above the [Divine Pod].

[Remaining Time: 24 Hours]

Rachel read the words silently.

Atlas also stared at the screen.

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then Rachel frowned. "What the hell happened?"

[I don’t know, but we’ll probably find out after twenty-four hours pass. So for now, all we can do is wait.]

Rachel closed her eyes for a second, forcing herself to calm down. "Fine. Then let’s wait for twenty-four hours."

She looked back at Garion’s hidden body inside the pod, then turned her gaze toward Atlas. "You stay here and watch him. I’ll be back later."

Rachel turned around and began walking toward the library exit. "After all, Rovak still needs to be trained, and this is a good time for me to vent."

Atlas only looked at her back and sighed.

[Rovak... I pray for your safety, and thank you for your sacrifice to keep Rachel sane.]

---

Rovak was now lying across the training field like a dead beast, staring blankly at the stormy sky above him.

Again, this time, he was not laughing loudly anymore. Only a weak sound escaped his mouth. "Hahaha... ha... damn..."

For some unknown reason, Rovak felt that today’s training was even crazier than before, because he had been trained by Rachel for twenty hours straight.

Every time Rovak thought it was finally over, Rachel’s warm pink aura would cover his body, heal just enough damage, restore just enough strength, and then calmly tell him to continue.

Although Rachel’s voice was still gentle, Rovak could clearly sense some hidden emotion behind it, like she wanted to vent on something.

And unfortunately, that something was him.

Rovak slowly raised one trembling hand toward the sky. "God Gym... is terrifying..."

Not far away, Dahlia sat on a rock and laughed without mercy. "You finally understand."

Rovak turned his head weakly. "Little dragon... your master’s wife... is scarier than him."

Dahlia grinned. "I know."

After confirming that Rovak was not dead, Rachel finally stopped training him. "You did well today too, Rovak. Rest properly."

Rovak’s mouth twitched. "Rest... sounds beautiful..."

Rachel nodded, then turned and quickly left the training field without wasting even a second, heading toward the hidden library space where the divine pod was kept.

When she arrived, Atlas was still floating beside the pod with his arms crossed.

The black liquid inside continued moving silently, completely covering Garion’s body.

Rachel’s eyes immediately went to the glowing screen above it.

[Remaining Time: 3 Hours]

Rachel exhaled slowly. "Three hours left?"

Atlas nodded.

[Yeah. Nothing strange happened after you left. The energy flow is still stable.]

Rachel looked at the pod for a long time before sitting down beside it.

Atlas glanced at her.

[Have you calmed down after torturing Rovak for twenty hours straight?]

Rachel looked at Atlas and narrowed her eyes. "I needed to calm down. Also, it’s good for me to train him harder. After all, he is our first customer."

Atlas immediately looked away.

[Understandable.]

Rachel leaned against the side of the pod, close enough that her hand could rest against its smooth surface. "Wake me when it ends."

Atlas looked at her quietly and nodded.

[Sleep. I’ll watch him.]

Rachel closed her eyes.

For the next three hours, the library remained silent.

Only the faint hum of the [Divine Pod] echoed through the silent space, steady and low, like a sleeping heart.

Then...

DING!

The golden timer reached zero.

[Remaining Time: 0]

Atlas’s eyes sharpened, and he immediately turned toward Rachel.

[Rachel.]

Rachel’s eyes opened instantly, as if she had never truly fallen asleep.

At the same moment, the entire pod trembled.

WOOOM!

The golden patterns across its surface blazed brightly, and the crystal cover slowly opened.

The black liquid inside suddenly began to drain away, pouring down into the bottom of the pod like melted darkness returning to nothing.

Rachel stood up immediately, her sleepiness vanishing in an instant.

Atlas floated closer, his usual calm expression finally cracking.

The last layer of black liquid slid away from Garion’s body, revealing his full body.

For a moment, the entire hidden library went dead silent.

Rachel froze.

Atlas froze too.

Neither of them knew what to say.

Until Atlas finally muttered in disbelief.

[Damn... what the hell happened to him?]
