Chapter 555 Served human intestines

Chapter 555 Served human intestines

'This does not smell like the carcass of a goat,' Jia Li thought as she came to a stop in front of the sack that was thrown in the back of the mountains which was far from the village. She turned to glance at Li Gang and Grandma Lan Fen before announcing, "It's a human."

The body might have been twisted in a manner such that no one would be able to recognize it was a human corpse before being stuffed inside the sack but Jia Li had seen enough corpses in her life to know that it was indeed a human and not a goat.

Li Gang crouched down and then pulled the strings of the sack. With Liu Hui Ying giving them enough spiritual energy it was not that troublesome for the three ghosts to touch and hold things. He undid the strings and no sooner did he pull the strings ——

A foul smell along with a torn arm rolled out of the sack.

"Unless they were talking about a mutated goat that had the arms of humans, I think this corpse indeed belongs to a man rather than a goat," stated Li Gang as he turned to look over his shoulder only to find Jia Li and Grandma Lan Fen looking at him with disgust. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Don't do that," Jia Li told him off with a frown on her face. She looked down at the arm that was smashed to bits with the fingers twisted in all different angles. It was a gruesome sight and she needed to prepare her heart to face it but Li Gang just did it without giving her any time to prepare herself.

"What? This is something that we used to see every day and we still do...what are you acting prissy for?" Li Gang remarked with a casual tone causing Jia Li to glare at him as she said,

"You have no tact! No wonder you died without getting a girlfriend! Can't you see it is necessary for you to at least ask before doing something like this in front of a woman with a tender heart?"

"A woman? With tender heart? You? Are you dreaming, do I need to knock you out and wake you up?"

"You bastard, come here——"

"Alright you two," Grandma Lan Fen knocked her cane on the ground and glared at the two idiots who were fighting like idiots. She looked at the corpse and then sensed a deep grudge wafting off from it and said to the two, "This man died unjustifiably, his grudge is way too strong. Instead of wasting time and letting his soul get corrupted, we need to help his soul."

No sooner did she finish speaking, than Jia Li and Li Gang stopped quarrelling they looked at the corpse and then pursed their lips before Jia Li said, "I want to help him too but the thing is..." She closed her eyes and looked down at her hands. "It's just that he is not going to like it."

"Who cares I like it and I am doing it," Li Gang stood up as he summoned his baseball bat. Seeing him act so unbothered Jia Li could not help but remark, "You are a barbarian."

"Oh yeah?" Li Gang placed his bat down right where he could sense the grudge crawling out from. He aimed by swinging the bat back and forth before turning his head and looking at Jia Li, "Guess what? I don't care." He swung the bat over his head before aiming right at the grudge before it could stem. A second later the soul that had gone corrupt flew out and then went soaring in the sky.

"Yup, it's gone," Li Gang looked up at the sky until the soul vanished and then looked at Jia Li who was looking at him with annoyance. "You could have at least taken a small aim."

"I am sending him at the top of the line, don't worry he would thank us three," stated Li Gang as he knew that the smack he delivered would send the spirit to the underworld and right in the line of the reincarnation. They usually did not do it but in case the grudge was too big to be resolved easily, their intervention was necessary.

THUD.

CLANG.

BANG.

The first to fall was the meatball followed by the chopsticks and then the bowl of rice that Zhai Tianyu was holding.

Hum...Human Corpse? To whom does this meat belong then?

Zhai Tianyu shivered as he looked down at the meat on the table.

"Ah my lord are you alright?" Su Tai asked with a smile that looked eerie to Zhai Tianyu. A second later he heard Jia Li say in a soothing voice, "Don't worry the flesh on the corpse was intact, it's not the flesh of a human, Your Majesty."

Zhai Tianyu heaved a sigh of relief. Before smiling at Su Tai and replied, "It's nothing I guess I drank too much last night."

"The grip of my fingers is not that good at the moment," he chuckled before taking another set of chopsticks from the servants. He went to pick up the braised intestines when he heard Li Gang say, "The corpse was missing its intensities though."

The chopsticks slid down once again and the sauce splattered all over the table. Zhai Tianyu looked at the bowl of braised intestines and gagged when he actually found a human tooth in between.

This...this was definitely human intestines!

His expression changed but he suddenly felt a bang at his back and his expression froze in a smilingly one. The terror that was crawling out of his heart stopped as well, he then heard Liu Hui Ying say to the two people in the room, "I apologize, but my master has weak kidneys when he drinks too much he ends up causing a mess, I hope you will forgive him."
